Carl Paladino Attacks Khan Family Again
Trump’s New York State Co. Chair Carl Paladino continues to attack Khizr Khan. He is the father of U.S. Army Capt. Humayun Khan, killed in Baquabah, Iraq on June 8th, 2004. As a suspicious car drove toward the front of the base, Captain Kahn ordered his troops to step back. He moved toward the car packed with explosives, forcing the suicide bomber to set off the explosion sooner than intend. As a result of his action, the lives of many other troops around the gate of the compound were saved.
Last week on the Imus in the Morning show, Paladino told Connell McShane: “All right, I don’t care if he’s a Gold Star parent. He certainly doesn’t deserve that title, OK, if he’s as anti-American as he’s illustrated in his speeches and in his discussion. I mean, if he’s a member of the Muslim Brotherhood or supporting, you know, the ISIS-type of attitude against America, there’s no reason for Donald Trump to have to honor this man.” Later, in an email to Buzzfeed, he doubled down on his accusations against Khizr Khan.
Paladino also restated his belief that President Obama is Muslim and accused Hilary Clinton of hiding serious health issues. Clinton’s doctor recently described her health as “excellent.” In a bizarre letter, Trump’s doctor stated his health was “extraordinary.”
Carl Paladino is a former Tea Party Republican gubernatorial candidate in New York state. He has portrayed himself as a traditional conservative Christian values candidate. The proof of the hypocrisy of those statements is a series emails he sent to his supporters and friends. They include bestiality videos, pornographic images, racist jokes and Obama birther conspiracy theories. As reported by the WNYMedia.net, Paladino forwarded a message in 2008 entitled “Obama Inauguration Rehearsal.” It included a video clip showing African tribesmen dancing in a village. The video was very popular in the white supremacist community.
